Privacy Policy

Privacy is very important on the Internet. Keep reading to learn how we at Pecteasers collect and use your information.

The most important points of this policy are in bold, but please read everything in this policy carefully.  If you continue to use this website, that is the same as agreeing with the policy.

This policy can change any time and was last updated on April 6, 2023. When we update this policy, we’ll add a message to the website to let you know.

If you want to skip this and just enjoy the blog, we can’t stop you, but understand that it’s on you if you miss anything important.

This website is for adults only. We don’t allow minors (anyone under the age of 18 and under the age of majority in their region) to use this website or provide information. We will never intentionally gather information from a minor, and if we ever receive information from a minor anyway, we will remove it.

We will only use your data as a way to help maintain this website, like handling spam, abuse, and troubleshooting. We have no interest in using it for any other reason.

Our goal is for your activity on this website to stay on this website. We don’t (and have no plans to) buy, sell, rent, or trade any of your data to any person, company, or organization.

Assume that any data this website collects will be stored securely in this website’s servers, for as long as this website is active. We’ll make it clear in this policy when there are exceptions.

We don’t share your information with any company or organization without your clear and written consent, unless we’re required by law.

This website doesn’t use any tools that can track what you do on other websites. We also do our best to avoid any tools that could give companies access to your private data while you’re here.

This also means that we avoid embedding content from other websites. Even though it’s convenient to watch a video directly on this site instead of clicking a link, this is one major way that companies can track you, even when you’re not on their websites directly.

When you visit this website, your browser automatically sends information to our servers to identify you as a visitor. This information usually includes things like:

  • Your IP address (a unique number that identifies your device on the Internet)
  • The name and version of your browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
  • How you reached this website (search engine? another website?)

This doesn’t include anything that could identify you as a person. For example, your browser wouldn’t share your name, physical address, or phone number with our servers.

This website lets visitors submit information. You can make comments, vote in polls, and send messages through the contact form.

Whatever information you choose to share this way is collected. We would also automatically collect:

  • Your IP address (a unique number that identifies your device on the Internet)
  • The name of the browser you used (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
  • The name of the operating system of your device (Windows, Linux, Android, etc.)

If you provide an email address, we will only use it to contact you if there are any issues or to respond to a message from the contact form. We won’t email you out of the blue to send newsletters, promotions, etc.

We aren’t interested in collecting your legal name, phone number, or physical address. If you provide any of this information to us, we will delete it.

We collect this information for the same reasons we covered in Usage and Sharing. It’s also important to keep track of this information in case you ever need us to refer to it in the future (see Your Rights for more information on that).

When you click “Enter” on the warning screen, you consent to us storing a cookie on your device. The only purpose of this cookie is to record that you clicked Enter so that the warning page won’t reappear.

The cookie will last until you close the browser or manually remove the cookie. If your browser blocks cookies, then you will see the warning screen on every page of the site outside the information pages.

Currently, this is the only cookie that we create intentionally. However, our servers may also store cookies of their own to improve the functionality of their services, which we have no control over.

This website may sometimes include unembedded links to other websites. These other websites have their own rules about privacy that may be different from ours.

We will do our best to not intentionally link to websites that are known to not respect your privacy, but we aren’t responsible for what information other websites gather from you or how they will use it.

You have the right to request to review, update, or correct the information gathered about you. You also have the right to let us know if you feel that our privacy policy is not being followed or enforced, or if you have any other questions or concerns.

If you need to reach out to us about this policy, message us with the contact form.
